How to Find Your Google Analytics Information from your Blogger Dashboard

Hello, Walsh and CCS Students!

Hopefully you have successfully installed Google Analytics into your blog. Please feel free to tweet me if you have any problems and need additional help.

After you are done uploading the Google Analytics code, you will want to go to your Google Analytics Dashboard.

The video provided in the packet is outdated.  Here is the new way to navigate to your Google Analytics Dashboard.

First, you should be here.

Go to the upper right hand corner and hover over your image.  Click View Profile.

It will take you to this screen.  Click on Data Tools.

It will bring you to this screen.  Click on View Account Date next to Dashboard.  It is the first link under Data tools.

It will bring you to this screen.  Click on Analytics.

It will then bring you to your dashboard.  Click on the link of your blog name next to the globe icon. (Not shown since my code would be visible).

Remember that it takes 24 hours to collect and show data. Be sure to check back at your Google Analytics dashboard to ensure that you uploaded the code correctly.  You don’t want to get to the end of the semester when you are putting together your Personal Branding Project only to see you don’t have any data.

Remember to tweet me if you have any questions!
