Having a LinkedIn
profile is a critical component of having an online presence. It gives you the opportunity to showcase your
professional accomplishments and network with other people in your field.
For your LinkedIn
assignment, you will need to create a personalized URL. This is a great personal branding tool! Please be sure to follow these instructions
and turn in the correct link. If you do
not turn in the correct link, I will not be able to see your profile.
First go to your
profile.
Click on the link under
your profile.
On the right hand side,
there is a section that says “Your Public Profile URL.” Click on the pencil.
Enter your name (or if it is taken, some version of your name). CLICK SAVE.
Copy this link and paste
it in a Word document. Make sure that it
is a hyperlink.
